MY GOD WILL HEAR ME.

“Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.” (Micah 7:7).

Today is one sure day when everything will work out fine for me. The weather will favour me. Heaven has marked me for blessing. God’s mercy will surround me. Because my God will hear me.

I have always believed God is a prayer answering God. He answered the prayers of Abraham for a child and turned around the wrath of Esau against his brother Jacob. God answered the prayers of Daniel and rescued the three Hebrew boys from the fire of Nebuchadnezzar. God answered the prayers of the unnamed boy who gave his five loaves and two fishes to Jesus. He went back home with more food than the one he gave to Jesus. Surely, today as I look unto Him, my God will hear me.

God is the God of my salvation. I am alive and well today because He took care of me. He is the one who sustains me and keeps me from evil. He is the one who gives me victory over sin and satan. Whatever may happen today, I am sure He will be near me and watch over me. Once I call on Him, I am confident that my God will hear me. To Him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
