The passion to perform

“Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain” (1Corinthians 9: 24).

Passion is a God-given innate potential in you. Every student has this latent power to do great things. You cannot achieve anything tangible without passion. Great achievers of contemporary and past time are, often than not, men of great passion for greatness. It is passion that drives success students to be enthusiastic in their success pursuit.
Passion will make you to study hard for success without minding the rigor. It is what explains why an athlete wakes up in the dawn of the day to practice in preparation to strive for the prize without minding the cool. Passion will make you to burn candles in the night to read and study hard for excellence. When a student lacks passion for excellence, he will remain perpetually in the camp of mediocres.

It is often said that when a student is driven by passionate convictions, he will not lack the courage and confidence to climb the ladder of success. Excellence is always the target of students with passion. Life itself when not governed by passion remains passive and pessimistic. Passion however belongs to champions while pessimism belongs to cowards. You've got to be passionate if you will do something worthwhile on your success goals this year. There is power for success in passion, an innate potential God has endowed in you.

Challenge: Passion for excellence is one effective key to success.

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to wake up the sleeping giant (passion) in me.
